I'm sure some people just want to learn a few quick words or phrases they can use often in online games, so I'll slowly add some below.
I'll use casual Japanese, as these are meant for people who aren't so serious about learning Japanese, but want some quick easy phrases they can use with friends.


Ohayo - Good morning
Konnichiwa - Good afternoon
Konbanwa - Good evening
Oyasumi - Goodnight
Tadaima - I'm back (I'm home)
Okaeri - Welcome back (Welcome home)
Omedetou - Gz

Hai - Yes
Iie - No
Tabun - Maybe
Shirinai - I don't know
Wakaranai - I don't understand
Mochiron - Of course
Onegai - Please (asking for a favour)
Kudasai - Please (Asking for something)
Arigato - Thanks
Gomen - Sorry
Douitashimashite - You're welcome
Mondai nai - No problem

Ii - Good
Warui - Bad
Dame - Bad (as in a bad thing to do)
Yada - Do not want

Where? - Doko?
Itsu? - When?
Naze? - Why?
Doshitano? - What happened?
Dare? - Who?
Ikura? - How much?
Daijobu? Are you ok? / Is it ok?

Ima - Now
Kino - Yesterday
Ashita - Tomorrow
Atode - Later

Hayai - Fast / early
Osoi - Slow / late
Okii - Big
Chisai - Small
Kawaii - Cute
Kakoii - Cool
Tsuyoii - Strong
Kantan - Easy
Muzukashii - Difficult

These can be added in front of the previous words as modifiers
Sukoshi - A little
Honto - Really (As in "true", and also as in "very")
Sugoku - Amazingly

Sensei~ I got a question about the following word:

Shirinai - I don't know

isn t the causal negative form of shiru = shiranai?
